New Year; New Format; New Location!

What an exciting year this will be for Summer School. Under the theme ‘Planning for legacy’, the 2012 Planning Summer School has returned to its roots whilst reflecting the modern approach to planning together by offering a single 4-day residential school to be shared by Elected Members and Planning Practioners.   

We have retained the familiar variety of our programmes which incorporate plenaries, workshops, a big debate, study tours and evening events whilst limiting the amount of time which needs to be taken out of the normal working week.   

We hope that this format, together with the usual high quality line up of speakers and workshop leaders we expect, will prove to be an attractive, inspirational and fun event, building on the reputation of Planning Summer School as one of the highlight events of the year.  

Our programme for Liverpool in September is coming together really well and we will shortly be publicising the speakers we have already lined up for you which will include some big names as well as some up and coming people so watch out for our first flyer coming out in Planning Magazine on 24 February.
