Val Dilcock, a long standing Member of Planning Summer School who has served as Honorary Hospitality Officer for the last eight years, has been awarded an MBE 'for her services to North York Moors National Park' in the New Year's Honours List. Val is currently the Chief Planning Officer for the National Park and will retire at Easter 2010. Planning Summer School President, Leonora Rozee, welcomed the news and said that the honour reflected the commitment of PSS Members to the planning profession and was very well deserved. |
