Exeter 2009
In September the Planning Summer School returned to Exeter University.
Outstanding weather ensured that delegates could enjoy the attractive landscaped campus with panoramic views across the Exe Valley.
The varied programmes of plenary papers, discussion sessions, workshops and case studies were extremely well received by the delegates as were the choice of four study tours and the always popular and essential networking opportunities over drinks or dinner.
Subjects covered at the schools demonstrated the critical linkages between planning and practice, interaction between those who must work together in common planning purpose, and how to connect with best practice and new thinking in the UK and abroad.
